Lake Superior
Check out the grandeur of the largest freshwater lake in the US – Lake Superior! Equally as beautiful in the winter and summer months, the UP boasts miles and miles of beautiful shoreline, many of which are swimmable (although you might freeze your toes off – even in the summer!). In the winter months, the natural ice sculptures along the shoreline are breathtaking.
Northern Lights

Skiing, Hiking & Biking Trails
Featuring some of the best trails in the country, our area boasts exhilarating single track trails and immaculately groomed ski trails. Copper Mining History
As you may know, our area was once home to a booming copper mining industry. There are tons of cool old buildings in our area (including our vacation rental!) to check out. Mine tours, smelter tours, lighthouse tours, we’ve pretty much got it all!
